Fortunately for me, my day at the office is sitting in my race car for four hours at a time. It may seem grueling to most, but in all honesty, I love every second of it. The high temperatures that I encounter each day, which can absolutely reach up to 130 degrees in the car, are just something I have gotten used to over the years. I have my helmet with an air vent blowing air onto my face, and that air comes from outside and passes through a small machine inside the car that cools and filters the air from the carbon monoxide. I always try and relax before a race. I do stretching techniques and like to zone out with a variety of songs off my itunes list just to get prepared.

As for skin care, I have a simple regimen, with a few go-to options that I rely on, as well as a few that my wife, Ashley, recently introduced me to.
Lubriderm Daily Moisture Lotion*: I use this as pretty much a daily moisturizer and keeps me away from dry skin.
Rhonda Allison Synergy A: The goal of this product is to strengthen the skin and reduce overall redness and inflammation. I also find it extremely helpful after long days on the track as it helps combat Ptosis (drooping eyelids) and helps me fight wrinkles.
Elta MD*: One of the products I have been recently introduced to is Elta MD. It’s water resistant for 40-80 minutes, and lasts me all day on the track. It’s been really effective so far.
I use Refresh Optive Eye Drops* always!
Kerastase Shampoo and Conditioner*: I use these to keep my hair strong.
March 10, 2017 – Las Vegas, Nevada, USA: The Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series teams take to the track to practice for the Kobalt 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Kurt Busch, 2004 NASCAR Monster Energy Champion and 29-time winner of NASCAR’s Monster Energy Cup Series, has raw, natural talent paired with desire, versatility and a team-player spirit making him a force to be reckoned with on the racetrack.
Known as a highly technical driver, Busch has raised the standard for everyone around him, including NASCAR as a whole. In 2014, he has become the fourth drive to do ‘The Double’ – 500 miles at Indy and 600 miles at Charlotte in the same day. He has proudly represented the USA in the Race of Champions, competed in the NHRA Rallycars, and won in the NASCAR Truck and NASCAR Xfinity Series.
He splits his time between Wellington, FL and Charlotte, NC with his wife, professional polo player and model Ashley Van Metre Busch.
