This beauty oil is simplicity at its finest. The fact that it primarily uses natural ingredients keeps skin irritation to a minimum and makes for a nice “cherry on top.”
Better Skin in a Bottle
I’ll be perfectly honest here: I’ve never tried a beauty oil before. I’ll go a step further and say I didn’t even know what beauty oil was, but after some research I was able to discern that the name is self-explanatory: it’s oil that you rub into the skin (usually the face) to help make it look better.

As is my custom, I decided to check out the ingredients before diving in face first: sunflower oil, coconut oil, safflower seed oil, argan kernel oil, rose hip seed oil, vitamin E, watermelon seed oil, ginger fragrance. Better Skin Co. makes it clear that this oil is both vegan and Paraben-free, another check in the “pros” category.
Their emphasis on the “natural approach” was noted and appreciated. I decided to give it a shot. After lotioning my face as usual, I rubbed some of the oil into my hands and rubbed it into my face.
It went on light, had a subtle-but-pleasant scent, and, most importantly, left my skin feeling smooth and supple. I repeated the process at night, then woke up the next morning convinced the oil was still working its magic.
That’s really all there was to it. There’s just one step to using these “glamour drops,” so if you’re the kind who loathes complicated skincare routines this will be right up your alley.
